Surely, everyone who has ever read a book had a favorite part. The book could be Tom Sawyer or Harry Potter, but my book is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
One of my three favorite parts of this book was when the author is describing the submarine known as The Nautilus. I think that it gives readers a vivid image of where the characters are and where they’re going to be. It’s also fun to see how creative the writer has to be in order to describe this.
Another favorite part is when the characters went diving. At this time in history people couldn’t dive like we can today, so it’s fascinating to see how they predicted it might be like. Also, the details the author gave about what they saw under the sea were incredible.
And finally, as the book was concluding, the action had increased immensly. Thunder was roaring, waves were churning and our heroes dissapeared. Fortunately, the book tied up most lose ends but left you with questions.
This book is a fantastic novel and was quite fun to read. What I loved most was how it left you wondering if the author is going to write another book. That hope of continuation. Overall, if you’re looking for a book to read when you have nothing to do, this one is recommended.
