Many people set goals. These goals vary from earning an amount of money by next month, to losing 10 pounds by the end of the week. But, it’s a long and hard road to get there. So if your motivated enough to make that goal happen, then pursuing your goal is satisfying enough. It makes you feel good about yourself. It gives you the feeling of perseverance and makes you feel like you can achieve anything. But, this is mostly the case if getting there is an enjoyable thing to do. Exercising can be a very tedious activity and in the moment, can feel like it’s going nowhere. But when you lose those 10 pounds and make it to the end of the road, it gives you such a great feel of accomplishment. So the question is what feels better, perseverance or accomplishment? I would have to go with perseverance. Because I think it’s better to go through achieving a goal with a positive take on it, than going through annoyed and upset until the very end. Not that that’s always the case with accomplishment. But if your trying to achieve a goal, then try looking at it positively the whole way though regardless.
